Project   Revitalization and Renovation of the Union Station | Toronto, Canada
Overview   The project aimed to restore and rehabilitate Union Station whish is considered the most important multimodal passenger transportation hub in Canada. Scope of work includes the restoration of the building’s exterior and interior masonry, and the Grand Hall. In addition to designing offices and lounge areas, one of the key interventions aims to create a new retail mall and commuter concourse under the current structure supporting the train viaduct. One of the first steps was to relocate the VIA Panorama first class lounge to the former lunch room location, and provide all the facilities required for its new function while respecting the original space and its heritage value.
