| Overview | 490,000 SF, five levels hydroponic farm prototype.. The farm is using high-tech methods to grow vegetables without soil. The roots of the plants are grown in a nutrient solution. The farm estimated water usage is 1/2500th of the water usage of field-based growing. The prototype can be placed in any location with reliable electricity and a filterable water supply. |
